Supporting Local Charities

Since it's inception, Caesars has been involved with Local Charity & sporting events.

In the past, many fundraising events were supported through the donation of furniture & accessories.

The "Sportsperson of the Year" was a regular highlight on our sponsorship calendar, as well as Local Soccer, which we sponsored for over 30 years. Griffith Scalabrini retirement village spring festival was also a staple on our sponsorship calander.

In August 2005 the spouses of the directors formed "Caesars Charity Committee" to guarantee the continuous support of worthwhile causes in Griffith, Wagga & surrounding regions.
This was done to formalise the application process & to make sure that different types of charities & people from our region receive assistance.

Monthly meetings are held, & we have a structured decision making process which includes application forms.

Our mission statement

We strive to keep our community thriving by identifying areas of need & giving to worthy projects & the support of the sick, elderly, young & disabled members of Griffith, Wagga & outlying areas.

Our Strapline

In the past three years, many Local Charities & events have benefited.
Some of these include; Langunyah House Youth Refuge, Salvation Army, Kalinda, Circus Quircus, Ronald McDonald House Randwick, Rankin Springs School, Birthrite & specialist bed -Griffith Base Hospital, Miss Australia Quest Wagga, Cubby House, Neighbourhood House, Can-assist, MS Society Leeton, Diabetes Australia,Australian Breastfeeding Association, Post School Options, Griffith City Boxing, Wiradjuri Pre-school, Goolgowi school, Kindergarten Lane, & Griffith Regional Theatre.

In 2006 we were proud to receive a Business Service Contribution award at the local annual business awards, for our dedication to community projects.

2008 saw the launch of the Caesars Charity Challenge on March 20th in conjunction with La Festa, Griffith’s Easter Festival. The aim was to facilitate a challenge where entrants would raise funds for their chosen charity as well as giving a percentage to La Festa to keep a community event alive.
