Q. Is leather better than fabric?
A. It really is a personal choice & depends on so many different factors. Also with new technology fabrics have advanced & can be extremely durable. However leather is natural & hardy & with the right care it is a long lasting investment.
Q. My new leather suite has scars & marks in it, does that mean that it is damaged?
A.NO! Leather is a natural material & the cowhide has gathered reminders of the cow’s life. The marks are considered a feature of the leather & not a flaw. If you want something that doesn’t have these features then you will have to get leather that has been highly corrected & will have little character to it.
Q. How regularly should I clean my leather?
A. As a rule of thumb leather should be lightly cleaned & conditioned every 3 months. However this may have to be done more often if the furniture receives heavy use.
Q. I don’t have children, why should I worry about paying extra for fabric or leather protection?
A. Do you have grandchildren, or entertain friends? Will anyone ever sit on your lounge with a cup of coffee, wine or food? Anyone can have an accident , this is why protection is so important. The first time you spill something on your new lounge, you’ll realise why we recommend this investment.
Q. I’ve experienced some movement in my timber table, & also noticed it is deepening in colour, is this normal?
A. Yes this is quite normal. Timber is a natural product which can expand & contract according to the varying temperatures in which it is housed. Timber furniture can also change in colour & character over a period of time due to the influence of light & air. This is the proof of genuine wood & part of the charm of a piece of quality furniture.Natural imperfections are not a sign of defect,
Guarantees -
Q. Will my furniture purchase be guaranteed?
A. Each product has varying guarantees from the manufacturer, retain your original store receipt/invoice to validate your guarantee.
Q. Is their warranty on my new furniture? How long do I have if a problem arises?
A. For a period of twelve months from the date of purchase, Caesars guarantees to make good by either replacement or repair, any manufacturing defects. Validated by your original store receipt/invoice.
This is provided such a defect is not the result of commercial use of a product (if not specified as commercial), normal wear & tear, miscared for in accordance with the care instructions supplied, misuse of a product, malicious or intended damage of the product.
This warranty is in addition to the rights decided by appropriate state & federal laws, & in specific the Trade Practices Act 1974 & New South Wales state Fair Trading legislation.
Q. Will my selection of finishes be exactly the same as the sample swatches in your store?
A. The colour samples in store are supplied as a good indication, however they are only taken from a small portion of the timber or material samples used by the manufacturers & should only be used as an indicator of colour availability.
There is no guarantee on the variety of colours & hues, which may vary in the grain pattern, material or fabric. This will result in varying shades & tones that will enhance the furniture’s appearance &make each piece individual.
Q. I’ve just purchased a new fabric suite, is there any thing extra I can do to protect it?
No fabric is bulletproof, but with proper care & maintenance your investment will look good for a long time. At Caesars we offer a fabric protection program with a five year warranty which offers coverage against all stains which occur to the fabric during normal use. It also provides peace of mind by offering a repair guarantee if you accidentally damage the fabric. Just ask in store to find out more.
Q. How can I ensure my beautiful leather lounge suite will stay soft & supple?
Fine leather is soft & luxurious, & meant to be enjoyed by the whole family. With proper care it will actually improve with age & last for many, many years. When you purchase from Caesars we offer you a total care & maintenance system for your leather furniture. Even the best leather is subject to staining & damage, so we recommend a leather care kit with a five year product warranty. See our staff to find out more.

To keep your furniture in good condition please follow these simple guidelines.
DO'S
- Wipe with a clean damp cloth to remove surface dust.
- Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth in the direction of the grain & never in a circular motion/action.
- Always protect you furniture with heat resistant placemats.
- Spillages especially alcohol should be wiped off immediately with a damp cloth.
DONT'S
- Do not expose timber to direct sunlight or extremes of humidity.
- Do not conceal the tops of your furniture with glass covers. This can result in sweating of the timber & peeling or staining may occur.
- Do not use general household cleaning products or polishes that contain silicones.
- Do not allow hot or abrasive items in contact with your surfaces.
- Do not allow liquid or damp cloths to remain in contact with the furniture surfaces.
- Do not drag your furniture - All furntiure etc. must be lifted correctly.
